Consequent to the rapidly growing globalization and integration of shipping and port operations it is of a grater importance that precise and accurate information are easily available and accessible to all stakeholders in the maritime industry. In recognition of such need for information, "Shiplink International" decided to publish and information guide named "Guide to Sri Lankan Ports & Shipping" a comprehensive hand book, which covers all the aspects of maritime industry in Sri Lanka (Ports, Shipping, Cargo & Logistics).

       This guide book brings Sri Lanka in parallel and affiliated with the chain of other prestigious "Ports & Shipping Guides" of the world & will be in world wide circulation. The valuable information provided in this Guide Book is vital to the sea farers, port users, anybody engaged in above trades and general public will be updated annually on the printed version, monthly on CD version and instantly on web version.

      "Guide to Sri Lankan Ports & Shipping" consists of two sections, Port guide and Shipping Directory sections. Port guide contains the detailed information about all ports in Sri Lanka (Colombo, Galle, Trincomalee, Kankasanturai, Point Pedro, Jaffna and developing ports of Colombo South, Hambantota and Oluvil) their management, departments and contact numbers. Directory section contains the addresses and contact numbers of companies engaged in Shipping, Cargo, Logistic, Aviation and their associations.
